Halloween

I had a story that I wanted to write about but after not sleeping through the night for 4 months, my memory is poor and my creativity is weak. Thus, you just get so Halloween pictures.

This is Emery's new favorite outfit and she wears it daily. She didn't understand the need for a trick or treat bag when you could just eat as you went.

little update

This is kind of a lame post with just pictures but if I don't do just pictures it will never get done. This was for Arleigh's 4th birthday and Michael's dad came for Olivia's blessing.

sleeping

This is just a post dedicated to sleeping. I'm realizing more and more what a wonderful thing sleep is, especially now that I have another baby. Normally Arleigh doesn't take a nap anymore but this is how she fell asleep during quiet time one day.

The rest of these pictures were taken Sunday after church. Sundays wear us out and everybody needs a nap. Everybody was sleeping except Olivia and Michael both woke up before I took their picture.

We woke both of them up so we could go to a friends house for dinner and they were both so hot and and tired still that they just laid in front of the fan. I love my little family. I tried to get Michael to fake asleep after he woke up so I could take a picture as you can see, that didn't happen :-)

Emery's Birthday

Emery is a two year old! She has been so much fun, a little fiesty, but a whole lot of fun. She has been taking off her clothes lately so we have to pin her pjs. It is too hot so I had to cut off the arms and legs of her pajamas, that and the fact that they are too small make her look like a little hobo. She's a mess.

She loves to change her baby's diaper and wasting too many wipes so we had to get a baby with a diaper and pretend wipes.

Summer, Summer, Summer!

We have been loving the summer. Our Stake had a Father/Son campout and of course Michael didn't get to go (no son) so we had some other friends over that didn't get to go and Michael and Arleigh "camped out" in the back yard.
These pictures pretty much captured the extent of the camping. She fell asleep and then decided at about 11:30 pm that she wanted to sleep in her bed. She did sleep in until 9:30 am, which was awesome. Then we made pancakes, eggs, bacon, and rice for breakfast. Breakfast was always my favorite part of camping.

This is a shot of the black widow that we found outside of our house. It was night so you can't see it that well but it is the black blob in the middle of the picture. Every spider web I see, I just know that it is a black widow now. Creepy.

This was our movie night.

I just had to throw this shot in. She is so stinkin' cute.
